The U.S. Yin Shun Foundation and Bodhi Monastery will be hosting Family Days on Saturday, August 8th and Saturday, August 22nd. All are invited and welcome to attend.

    

Family Day on August 8th will begin with a Dharma talk by Ven. Master Jen-chun, which will be translated into English. In the morning, for children, there will be Chinese games such as Chinese chess, yo-yo, and ping pong, plus a basketball game and crafts. Following will be the Saturday liturgy and a vegetarian lunch. In the afternoon,  there will be a Dharma talk by Ven. Ji-Xing, President of the Buddhist Association of the U.S.; meditation led by the Abbot of Bodhi Monastery, Ven. Guo-Ching; tai chi; and Buddhist stories for children.

11:00 a.m. – Liturgy (Buddha Hall)

11:30 a.m. – Vegetarian lunch (cafeteria)

  1:00 p.m. – Dharma lecture by Ven. Ji-Xing, President of BAUS (Lecture Hall)

                   Tai chi – instructor led (gym or outside)

                   Meditation – led by Abbot, Ven. Guo-Ching (meditation room)

                   Buddhist stories for children – instructor led (Classroom 1)
