Discussion on Bojjhanga Sutta – The Enlightenment Factors 《觉支经》

Saṃsāre saṃsarantānaṃ, sabbadukkha-vināsane;
satta dhamme ca bojjhaṅge, mārasenā-pamaddane.
Bujjhitvā ye cime sattā, tibhavā muttakuttamā;
ajāti-majarā-byādhiṃ, amataṃ nibbhayaṃ gatā.

The seven kinds of Dhamma are the Factors of Enlightenment, which destroy all sufferings of beings who wander through this samsara (rounds of birth and death) and defeat the army of Mara, the Evil One.

Having realized the seven Dhammas, these persons were liberated from the three kinds of world (sensual, material, and immaterial). They have gone to Nibbana, where there is no birth, no decay, no sickness, deathlessness and fearlessness.

此七法是觉悟的条件，能摧毁流浪于轮回（生死轮回）之众生的一切苦，并击败魔军—邪恶者。觉悟此七法，此人界解脱于三界（欲界、色界、无色界）。他们已达无生、无衰、无病、无死及无惧的涅槃

About Teacher 禅师简介

Sayadaw U Kovida

Sayadaw U Kovida was born in 1976, Myanmar. He was a Samanera in 1990 and was later ordained at Mahāvisutārāma Monastery in 1996. From 2000-2003, he studied Buddhism at Masoe-yein-teikthit in Mandalay, and awarded the prestigious title of Sasanadhaja-Dhammacariya. He then started teaching Buddhist Scriptures from 2003 to 2004 at the same monastery.  He started teaching meditation in April, 2008 at Pa-Auk Tawya Meditation Centre (Main), in Myanmar. Sayadaw is fluent in Burmese and English. He has been conducting meditation retreats in: Indonesia, Korea, Latvia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, USA. He has given Dhamma talks in: Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand. Sri Lanka, Vietnam, USA, India, Canada. He has been conducting online Dhamma teaching since 2020.

果维达尊者出生于1976年，缅甸。14岁时出家成为沙弥。于1996年，在萨林镇的Mahāvisutārāma寺院受出家具足戒成为比丘。1990年至1999年，尊者在Mahavisutarama 寺院修学三藏。2000年至2003年，尊者继续在Masoeyein 寺院深造并荣获Sasanadhaja-Dhammacariya (法师)头衔。之后尊者在Masoeyein寺院教授三藏。于2008年4月，果维达尊者正式成为帕奥禅林主寺的业处导师。之后，尊者在毛淡棉帕奥禅林总部教导无数的当地及外国禅修者。尊者通晓缅语及英语。除了教导禅修，尊者也教授三藏，巴利文，缅文等。果维达尊者有丰富的海外教学经验。尊者常受邀到各地如印尼、韩国、开示拉脱维亚、马来西亚、新加坡、越南、美国等地指导止观禅法。此外，尊者也受邀到新加坡、马来西亚、中国、台湾、印尼、泰国、斯里兰卡、 越南、美国、印度、加拿大等各地弘法。从2020年开始，尊者也受邀在线上教导佛法。
