Bodhi Monastery will be hosting a Family Day on Saturday, September 26th. All are invited and welcome to attend.
The day will begin with a Dharma talk by Ven. Master Jen-chun, which will be translated into English, and a class for children. Following will be the Saturday liturgy and a vegetarian lunch.
In the afternoon, there will be a Dharma talk by Ven. Ji-Xing, President of the Buddhist Association of the U.S.; meditation led by the Abbot of Bodhi Monastery, Ven. Guo-Ching; instructor-led tai chi; and Dharma question-and-answer session. For children, there will be sports, games, and arts and crafts.
There will also be a lecture on the novel H1N1 flu by Dr. Karen Lin (no translation) and foot massages offered. Anyone interested in getting a massage must register ahead of time by calling one of the numbers below.
