The 2009 Summer Dharma Retreat hosted by the Yin Shun Foundation at Bodhi
Monastery features Dharma talks, meditation sessions, discussion, and
liturgy — a balanced blend of the intellectual, contemplative, and
emotional sides of the Buddhist path.

ENGLISH PROGRAM (July 3rd-5th)
Speakers : Bhante Bhikkhu Bodhi, V. Bhikkhu Analayo, Mr. Michael Roehm, and Dr. Yu-Jung Avis.

CHINESE PROGRAM (July 3rd-9th)
For the Chinese program, we will have Ven. Jenchun, Ven. Chaoding, Ven.
Houguan, Ven. Kairen, Ven.Yuanpo. Subjects will be based on Master

CHILDREN’S CAMP (July 3rd-4th, July 5th is free float)
New to this year:
For the first time, we will have a special two-day camp (the third day
will be an unstructured free-float day) for children ages 8-12. We
invite parents to sign up for their children. Only 20 slots are
available. In this program, a parent or guardian is required to
register for and attend one of the adult programs while the child is on
site.


Application (June 1 to June 20): If you are signing up for either one of the adult programs, please register online. If you also wish to register on behalf of your child, please download the application form and submit it with the required information either by email to request@yinshun.org or by post to Yin Shun Foundaiton, 67 Lawrence Road, Lafayette, New Jersey, 07848.

Attendance:
Though it is to your benefit to participate in the entire program, you
are also welcome to come for COMPLETE day sessions from 8:00 am – 8:30
pm on July 3rd-4th and from 8:00 am – 4:15 on July 5th.

Arrival/Registration: If
you plan on staying in the monastery dormitory during the retreat, we
suggest that you apply early since dorm space is limited. Any
out-of-state participants can arrive as early as July 2nd. General
registration for those coming for the entire program and who are
staying at the monastery is on Thursday, July 2nd, between 2:00 pm and
7:00 pm.

*Note: In order to reduce waste, please bring your own drinking cup.

IMPORTANT: ONLY REGISTERED RETREATANTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE MONASTERY DURING THE RETREAT. EVERYONE MUST APPLY!
