Vesak Donations Go to China and Myanmar

During the Vesak Program that was held on Saturday, May 17th, Bodhi Monastery had a fund drive to help relieve the victims of the two recent catastrophic natural disasters — the cyclone in Myanmar and the earthquake in China. Over $26,500 was collected. The donations were mainly collected during the Vesak Program but donations trickled in afterwards as well. Bodhi Monastery issued a check to the China Red Cross through the Chinese Consulate General in New York to aid victims in China and another check was issued to Tzu Chi Foundation to aid victims in Myanmar.
